The 3 clamping balls are released by applying compressed air.
The 3 clamping balls retract and the fixture can be changed. When the air pressure is removed, the 3 clamping balls move outwards and the fixture is clamped.
This easy-to-use system significantly reduces changeover times.
The repeat precision is ± 0.01 mm.
If the maximum working load limit is exceeded or the module is set vertically, a repeat accuracy of 0.01 mm can no longer be guaranteed.
The locating cylinders and bushes should be positioned at equal distances from the centre of the fixture plate.
The maximum working load limit is calculated from the sum of the weight of the fixture plate, the clamping fixture and the workpiece.
The maximum working load limit applies when two module packs are used. A module pack consists of a locating cylinder 03161 and a locating bush 03162.
